Greenery Productions featured in The Knot Magazine

Francesca and Pasha wanted a white winter backdrop for their December wedding and Greenery Productions was ready to deliver. They envisioned a wedding with winter colors of cool blues, white and silver.

Francesca's bouquet was a mix of white floral including peonies, hydrangea, roses, ranunculus, pine cones, silver brunia, lambs ear and other natural silver foliage. We then wrapped the bouquet with white satin and attached the bride's rosary for a personal touch. Their centerpieces of baby's breath, hanging crystals and candles resembled a snowy winter night. Wedding planner Tracy Marini of Eventfully Yours did a fantastic job coordinating this elegant affair.

In addition to a wedding feature, the floral design we did for the Knot's annual vendor party in Orlando was also showcased. This chic event was also coordinated by Tracy and we worked with her to create dynamic and eye catching floral designs.

We dressed the food stations with black cherry draping and set black and white vases with blooming branches stretched upwards and across the table. We meticulously attached white floral lights to the branches along with pink orchid blossoms. The whole room was adorned with various arrangements consisting of ginestra, protea, tulips, orchids and berries.

Breathe better with plants

Did you know that formaldehyde and benzene gases are the most toxic chemicals found in our everyday work places? These gases are routinely released from furniture, carpeting and building materials. Most office spaces are unventilated and do not allow these gases to escape.

Research done by Nasa and The Associated Landscape Contractors of America and their Interior Plantscape Division determined that indoor plants can clean the pollutants in the air inside enclosed spaces. Their experiments showed that plants that were sealed in Plexiglas containers removed 80% of the contaminants in the air within 24 hours. The Plants for Clean Air Council recommends one potted plant for every 100 sq. ft. of floor space.

Real Wedding - Rainer and Candace

Rainer and Candace's beach side wedding at Costa d'Este was absolutely beautiful! Karry Castillo of Uniquely Yours did a fabulous job tying all the details together and created an elegant wedding celebration for the couple.

We had a great time working with Rainer and Candace and came up with some really fabulous floral pieces. For Candace's bouquet we assembled a pretty arrangement of white mini calla lilies and peonies and then added green dendrobium and cymbidium orchid blossoms for pops of color.

At the reception we incorporated seashells to each centerpiece to add the beachy element from the ceremony into the ballroom. The centerpieces for the guest tables consisted of "kissing balls" made out of green button mums that had white dendrobium orchid sprays that rested on top of the largest kissing ball. For the head table, we strung 3 kissing balls together that hung inside tall glass vases, each one suspended from a large magenta dendrobium orchid spray at the top of each vase.

This wedding was absolutely beautiful and it was an honor doing this wedding for Rainer and Candace.

Lemon Yellow Decor

Greenery Productions put together some fun and cheerful arrangements of yellow floral and citrus to brighten this corporate event at Rosen Shingle Creek. We assembled a collection of various designs consisting of sunflowers, chrysanthemums, yellow calla lilies and cut lemons to achieve this vibrant look. In addition to the fun centerpieces we also added an array of palm trees and ferns to help enhance the space.

Ashley and Judd's Grande Lakes Wedding

Ashley and Judd were married back in October 2010 at the JW Marriott Grande Lakes Orlando. From the bouquets to the birch trees, their vision of a winter wonderland were brought to life

We created gorgeous arrangements of white flowers using roses, peonies and ranunculus. Lambs ear, brunia, and mini frosted pine cones gave a touch of silver to the bouquets and centerpieces. The head table consisted of tall silver candle sticks with silver and glass mosaic hurricane vases with candles. The room was also framed with towering birch trees, each with 30 hanging glass votives.

Congratulations to the beautiful couple. They were absolutely wonderful to work with.

Spring into Green!

Last week on April 29th Greenery Productions held it's second annual spring party "Spring into Green" where we were able to display our latest and greatest in florial and foliage products. Our party also served as the kick off event to the National Interiorscape Network conference that was being held in Orlando, Florida. We welcomed our international guests as well as our local partners and vendors into our facility where we provided tours through all our departments to showcase all the fabulous services that Greenery Productions provide.

We were so thrilled to have over 300 guests celebrate with us as. Greenery Productions wins Best Wedding - Florists' Review

Congratulations to our very own Matt Grier who's wedding with wife Brittany won overall BEST WEDDING in the current issue of Florists' Review. Greenery Productions' wedding floral designer Tommy Murphy and the team of talented floral designers worked with the couple to create a contemporary black-and-white color scheme. From the intricate centerpieces, to the custom-design rose petal treatment on the aisle runner, to the garlands of crystal and white Dendrobium orchids, every detail was meticulously thought out.

The August 8th ceremony and reception took place at the beautiful Omni Championsgate in Orlando, Florida. With 180 people in attendance, it was a grand event that not only wowed their guests but definitely made an impression with expert floral designers in the industry!

Tommy and his fellow Greenery Productions designers; Alison Jakob, Skippy Jacob and Janice Prewitt, did an amazing job designing and producing such a memorable and magnificent event! Congratulations to Matt and Brittany!

Ellen comes back to Orlando and Greenery Productions is honored once again to be the floral and foliage provider for the set. Ellen taped two shows on Sunday, April 3rd and will be airing these episodes on Tuesday and Wednesday, April 5 & 6.

We provided a variety of foliage and flowers including pink Hydrangeas, Rabbit Foot Ferns, Arecas, Canna Lilies, Arboricolas and Philodendrons to decorate the stage. Ellen even used our foliage to hide before making her grand entrance on stage.

We are so pleased to be a part of this event and look forward to participating again on her next taping in the Sunshine State.

Porter Wedding featured in Orange Appeal Magazine

We love our weddings in Magazines! Especially if the couple that are featured are one of the most amazing couples we've met. We are pleased to have Angela and Edward Porter's wedding in Orange Appeal Magazine.

Angela and Edward originally got married at the court-house, and although it wasn't the dream wedding she had wanted, the idea of being married and being together for the rest of their lives made the day so special. After having kids and building careers and the loss of close family members they realized that "tomorrow is not promised" and it was now the time to have the wedding of their dreams.

With the new redesign of The Peabody Hotel, the layout calls for dynamic floral and foliage arrangements that are sure to wow passing guests.

One of our solutions to incorporate a grand foliage piece was a 8 foot planter bowl that stood 3 feet in height. Our team filled it with a variety of tropical plants including an 8 foot King Maya Palm, six feet Rhapis Palms, Philodendron Monstera, Bromilieads and many foliage plants.

Thank you to our hardworking installation team; Robbin, Chris, Robert, Luke, Johnny & Heidi who spent over 2 hours putting together this amazing piece!

The Knot "Cocktails and Connections" at The Mezz

Most of the time event design is a breeze for the creative team at Greenery Productions. But when The Knot came knocking (the third time in 5 years) asking us to participate in its annual regional vendor appreciation party on March 8th, Tommy Murphy knew he had to put his spin on it yet again.

Grateful to be called upon by the Knot and Tracy Marini of Eventfully Yours, he further called on the design talents of Shane Myers with Design Elements. Just returning from Event Solutions in Phoenix, Tommy was ready to WOW each guest with floral designs in honeysuckle pink; linens and accents in metallic colors and décor that was new and fresh. The space offered just the palette needed to pull of such a feet. The Mezz couldn’t have been a better fit for this task. Black & white carpet and walls, smoke mirrors and in column lighting are just a few wonderful attributes about this downtown Orlando space that can’t be matched.

Showcasing new and unique designs isn’t anything new for Tommy & Greenery Productions. Designing an event from “concept to completion” is what truly sets designer extraordinaire Tommy & his team apart from others in their field. Each floral arrangement; an individual piece of artwork was uniquely designed so as not to look like the next, all designed by the talents of Alison Jakob. Of course Tommy wasn’t certainly going to use linens that had already been done and seen. So he called on Alan from Over The Top Inc. who graciously agreed to custom design each linen selection for his VIP client’s and event.

The Knots only requirement was to have everyone’s attention during the introductions and if you know anything about industry professionals, you know we love to eat, drink and chat it up. So Tommy came up with a unique concept to reveal the food after the speeches, but without anyone noticing. The two large draped structures shown above were pulled back immediately following the speeches to introduce the guests to towering arrangements of blooming peach branches, pink Intuition roses, Ginestra and Hypericum berries... Oh and of course the wonderful culinary delights by Cuisiniers. The floral was arranged atop large curvy glass vases so the glass chandelier appeared as part of the overall arrangements. Each set of arrangements required 6 hours of labor, one designed by Fhanor Lenis and the other by Alison Jakob. The “Black Cherry” fabric and draping from the ceiling could only be accomplished by the talents of Design Elements. Large mirrored crystal and candle panels welcomed each guest flanked by silver dusted Areca Palm arrangements. Guests found themselves comfortable seated in couches by Michael Cruz of Chic Event Furniture Rental while enjoying the conversation of other wedding industry professionals as they nibbled on decadent desserts by Bake Me a Cakeand sipped signature cocktails and drinks by Barfly Bar.

JW Marriott Seasonal Display

Throughout the year we have several opportunities to design with foliage plants and props according to the seasons or up coming holiday in the main lobby of the JW Marriott Orlando Resort.

The end of January we replaced the beautiful winter scene to showcase a traveler waiting on a park bench for a ride. Items include passports, maps, camera, luggage, travel books and various colorful foliage plants in decorative planters.

Greenery Productions participated in it's first Indian wedding show produced by Desh-Videsh in September. An earlier blog post reflected on the designs for the Hilton Orlando & Greenery Productions' spaces at the tradeshow. The December 2010 Desh-Videsh magazine profiled our company. It is also with great pleasure that our work is featured in the Hilton Orlando & Waldorf Astoria Orlando advertisements.

The article below details the scope of tabletop design. Greenery Production's took first place competiting against at least 12 designs teams including other top rated Orlando design teams. CHRISTMAS TIME IS THE BEST TIME AT GREENERY PRODUCTIONS

One of Greenery Production's divisions is the Christmas and Holiday Decor Department. Although a year round activity for our team, the drive to install trees and decor is "round the clock" during the last two weeks of November and first week of December. Nearly 10,000 square feet of packed warehouse space is suddenly barren overnight. Greenery Productions is proud and honored to decorate some of Orlando's finest hotel properties. Each property is designed around a unique theme based on characteristics of each space. No two properties even remotely have the same design elements.

CFHLA GOLF TOURNAMENT

Greenery Productions is a proud corporate sponsor of the CFHLA. This year Greenery Productions had the opportunity to sponsor a hole for the annual golf tournament which was held at the Legends golf course at Orange Lake Country Club on October 29th, 2010.

The Sponsored hole was decorated with a Friday the13th theme in mind. The booth provided refreshments and snacks to golfers as they tested their golfing skills!! Golfers had the opportunity to drive marshmallow's while being taunted by a heckling Jason riding a pink bicycle aka "Tommy Murphy".

Peabody Hotel New Tower Interior Landscapes

The Peabody Orlando's new tower opened to the public on September 23, 2010. Having a long standing relationship with the Peabody Orlando, Greenery Productions was asked to create new and interesting interior landscape through out the hotel.

Lush foliage including Red Ti, Birds of Paradise, Anthurium, and colorful annuals were used to create a tropical garden look in the planter box in front of the B-Line diner.

The interior landscape project took a team of over 20 Greenery Production employees

and over a week to install the entire project.

Orlando Airport Marriott

The Orlando Airport Marriott previously had live interior foliage. The Greenery Productions Maintenance department was pleased to provide the hotel with a new Zen type look. Sales supervisor and customer care specialist Heidi Arbuckle came up with this low maintenence hard scape design.

Large bamboo stems, branches, silk bromeliads and decorative stone were used to create this unique and eye-catching design in the lobby, restaurants, pool area and throughout the hotel.

The maintenance department had a lot of fun putting together this interesting project. The Marriott was very pleased as well. Exceeding Expectations once again!!!

ORLANDO MAGIC RIBBON CUTTING CEREMONY

After years of planning, construction and preparation, the doors to the new Amway Center officially

opened to the public. Greenery Productions was honored to be a part of the grand opening celebration

by providing lush plant specimens to decorate the stage . Mayor Buddy Dyer cut the ribbon outside

the main entrance of the Orlando Magic's new home .

8-foot Adonidia Palm trees with colorful variegated Bromeliads at the base of the container flanked the stage. Variegated Arboicolas, Petra Crotons and Boston Ferns dressed the stage as well.

Linda Grier, President and Managing Director of Greenery Productions, was on location overseeing and assisting in the installation of the plant scape.

Desh-Videsh Bridal Show

Greenery Productions participated in the Desh-Videsh Bridal Show on September 12, 2010 at the Hilton Orlando Hotel. The ever so creative wedding designer specialist Tommy Murphy had a vision which included lush, modern, and sophisticated floral designs. The talented floral designers of Greenery Production's created beautiful floral arrangements to compliment the booth.

Desh-Videsh held a table top design competition that was judged by the public and Greenery Productions proudly won 1st place. Our show stopping masterpiece was created with two gold colored candelabras, eighty hanging crystals and over two dozen hanging votive candles. The floral included over 200 cream colored roses and a 140 white orchids. The floral designs were placed atop an extravagant burgundy table cloth accented with matching table settings. The touches of gold made for a perfect table setting.

Wanting to make a statement, the Hilton Orlando requested something modern and unique to be created for their booth. Always exceeding expectations, Tommy and the Greenery Productions designers used golden orchid blossoms to create a floral lampshade designed atop a tall glass cylinder vase. Smaller arrangements of burgundy and rust colored roses along with pin cushion protea were designed in amber beaded votive containers to finish the look.

Quicksilver Surf Expo

Greenery Productions was called to help create a vision for Quicksilver and Roxy for the

2010 Surf Expo show at the Orange County Convention Center.

For the Quicksilver girls booth, the client wanted to evoke a laid back, shabby chic vibe. An eclectic mix of rustic glass jars filled with a selection of wildflowers were utilized around the space along with a pair of full hydrangea displays in tall glass vases.

A trio of terrarium style succulent plants were also included to finish the look.

Various species of tropical foliage were used to recreate the look and feel of an Indonesian beach.

Our Production team recreated one of the first life guard stations.

For the Roxy booth, it was all about bright colors to create a fun atmosphere. Using purple and green dendrobium orchids designed in leaf lined cubes, the booth got a contemporary look while still keeping with their signature beachy feel.

PIA CalScape Expo in San Diego, California

Linda Grier Owner and Managing Director of Greenery Productions had the pleasure of participating in the PIA CalScape Expo in San Diego, California this past month. Linda took part in a panel discussion which included key topics in exploring the success at the source. The discussion was dedicated to leaderships who work within family businesses. Leadership skills are something that Linda Grier has plenty of experience in since she operates over her family owned business which includes her two sons Mickey, Matt and over 50 employees.
With over 20 years of experience, Greenery Productions Inc has been passionate about creating colorful and breathtaking interior plantscape enviroments for the leaders of the Central Florida proximate.

IN HONOR OF SEPT 11TH AND OUR LOCAL FIRE STATION 81

This morning Greenery Productions provided Fire Station 81 with a breakfast that included a homemade egg and sausage casserole, fresh fruit and orange juice. Breakfast was delivered at 7:00am so the previous shift was on site. We had a great time and thanked them for being our "First Responders" and for all they provide for our local community.

NEW DAY CREATIVE

Mickey and I had the pleasure of working with Jenn & Dawn from New Day Creative The dynamic duo settled for nothing but perfection and we aimed to please and delivered just that over several days in March for a premier nutrition and weight management company. I just love there philosophy of working together. "We'll evaluate you. And you'll evaluate us. And together we'll decide if we can wake up on the right side of the bed every morning. And we do that for this reason. We want to deliver quality. Gloriously. Sunup to sundown. 24/7." We both enjoyed our brief time together with Jenn & Dawn and are anxiously looking forward to the next engagement.

The first night's event, "Evening Under The Stars" was at the Waldorf Astoria Orlando. The tent was erected on the island that is between the Waldorf and Hilton Bonnet Creek. Our role was to enhance the experience both outside and under the tent. We accomplished this by providing tons of candle light reflected through glass mosaic hurricane linen the entrance and perimeter of the island. Twinkle lights illuminated the bridge decorated with natural draping greenery and white dendrobium orchid sprays.

The stage was enhanced with illuminated wax luminaries. A large stately arrangement of white phalenopsis orchids framed the Broadway Performer Linda Eder as she entertained guest for this chairman's dinner.

The tables were set with a lush arrangement of white phalenopsis orchids and hydrangea. Our silver chargers glistened in the abundant candlelight.

The second night events took place at the Hilton Orlando.

The white washed room was the back drop for tables dressed with white floral. The only color throughout was black napkins and chair sashes. Varying size and styled centerpieces of hydrangea, roses and mini calla lilies were set aglow with candle light.

The Bull & Bear Steakhouse at the Waldorf Astoria Orlando was the location for the final nights festivities. Beautiful deep burgundy roses (Black Magic variety) and rusty orange mokara orchids towered over guest atop a gold ornate candle stick. The tables were layered in fabric, chargers and gold rimmed stemware. Amber beaded candle holders and red votive defined the mood for the entire venue.

SAYING GOODBYE IS THE HARDEST PART

From the bottom of my heart, I always thank my clients for allowing us to participate in what will be one of the most memorable and cherished days of their lives. Sometimes those days becomes weeks and months and you begin to build a relationship. Coordinators can tell you this first hand since they share so many intimate details with the bride, groom and families. From the moment that Tracy Marini with Eventfully Yours introduced me to the Robucks, I knew I wanted to work with them to create their dream wedding. Charlotte (the bride) and Iris (the mom) where just so darn sweet. I cherished the thought of driving down memory lane as I visited the "barn" for the first time on Silver Lake in Leesburg. I spent some time growing up in Leesburg and worked at Silver Lake Country Club. In fact I helped open the facility way back in the late 80's. Much to my surprise it was torn down and the lot sits empty. Charlotte loved orchids and cerise and chartreuse colors. Her bouquet included Garnet Glow mini calla lilies and hand wired mini cymbidium orchid blossoms.

The girls carried a bouquet of Weber Parrot Tulips (an awesome variety with lots of textures, take a look at this link for tulips) and white mini calla lilies.

Always going above the call of duty to assist where and when I can.

Mr. & Mrs. Robuck are just a delightful couple. I enjoyed exchanging flower stories with Iris. Mr. Robuck was so accomodating even going so far as painting the silver installation that was painfully obvious after we installed the pipe and drape around the perimeter of the barn.

I just love this picture that Troy Battle captured of the flower girl. He is an amazing photographer and I can not thank him enough for being so great to work with and providing these wonderful images for your enjoyment. Be sure and clik the link to see more images of this wedding and others.

Mr. Robuck built this arbor which faced Silver Lake as the couple exchanged vows. Varying varieties of orchid sprays, ivy, variegated greenery and curly willow decorated the arbor.

Other tables included a soft and romantic pink cymbidium orchid spray tucked into a tall round vase. Pink parchment paper covered the flickering votive holders.

The cake carried the pink and green theme with a border of mini green cymbidiums and Garnet Glow mini calla lilies.

The beautiful coupled admiring their dream wedding and all the guest enjoying themselves.

I am often asked about elements that help drive the theme while remaining tasteful. I've seen these paper lanterns used and have used them myself in the past. But I always say use them in masses to provide an abundance of color and ambient lighting. So I couldn't help myself by hanging absolutely ever last lantern the client purchased. It brought the tent alive with color.

I just love this picture from across the pond (of which I wanted to build a bridge across). You can actually see all the pink in the picture it is amazing.

SPLASHES OF PINK AND GREEN

Andrea carried an all pink peony bouqeut. Her girls carried a vintage style bouquet of lime green hydrangea, pink peonies and sweet peas.

The focus at the ceremony was handmade orchid garland from white & green dendrboium orchid blossoms.

I love when a client is not afraid to use bright colors. Varying shades of chartreuse & cerise was captured in the floral and linens. Clutches of delicious Rai Parrot Tulips (a wonderful bi-colored tulip, click the name to see an upclose) dressed some tables while other tables included large towering vases with cymbidium orchid tucked into the throat.......all accented wtih mahogany bamboo.

May 1st, 2010 was a wonderfully busy day at Greenery Productions. All the prior months planning with four very special couples finally became realilty by our entire team. Thanks to Brittany Sobering of Tickled Pink Brides, we had the pleasure of creating beautiful weddings for two of these couples. After getting started on the other three local weddings, I headed to the Vinoy Renaissanace in St. Pete with two GP team members. We worked all day transforming the reception space into the beautiful and colorful reception you see above. Varying shades of pink and green floral including peonies, cymbidium orchid sprays, dendrobium orchid sprays, parrot tulips and bamboo transformed this space into a setting unlike the venue had ever seen. Thanks to BinaryFlips for the amazing images included in this blog post Of course its alway sure to bee a hoot when Rainer with Simply Cinematic is capturing the days event on video as they unfold. CENTRAL FLORIDA BRIDE MAGAZINE FALL/WINTER 2010

I honestly don't know what is more exiting after picking up the recent issue of Central Florida Bride magazine? I guess it is a combination of having three featured weddings, three great couples, being featured with some of my favorite and definitely Central Florida's best wedding professionals and now getting to share this excitement with you.

The first wedding is another wedding designed with Blush by Brandee Gaar and captured by the talents of Studio 222 Photographer What I loved about this wedding was that the bride allowed us to create about six different styled centerpieces for about 12 guest tables. Rather than spread the designs amongst our talented team, Janice Prewitt took my vision for each style and created one of my all time favorite pink and white weddings even using baby's breath here and there. All the little elements infused in this wedding created a sophisticated and chic southern wedding with elegance and style.

What is special about this wedding is that Donna Cooke from the Wyndham Orlando Resort could have garnered the talents of anyone in Orlando, but her and daughter Marisa chose to work with me and Greenery Productions. It was such an honor to work this intimately with an industry professional.

Thanks to David Basher from A Magic Moment for capturing such great images. Creating unique and eye catching designs with deep burgundy floral was left to us. In the article, the bride listed Greenery Productions as the most important vendor. "I met with my florist twice and went over species of flowers, colors, and vases, but left the design to the professionals. I was ecstatic when I saw how beautiful and perfectly coordinated they were." Thank you Marisa, we had a great time designing your wedding.

Lastly is the wedding of Janelle & Leon. Modest was Janelle, that I was the only one permitted to call her Dr. Haynes. I enjoyed every moment of planning with Janelle and her coordinator (of my favorites of course) Kerline of Joie De Vie Weddings & Events. Janelle was such a delight a constant reminder why we do what we do. She allowed me and the Greenery Productions team to design a wedding that was modern, edgy, unique yet captured her and Leon's personality. From the linens, to the chairs, cake, centerpieces and ceremony, she allowed me to bring all the elements together and truly valued our thoughts and opinions. Other images can be seen in a post last year.

Perhaps some of my favorite planning discussions surrounded the cake with the floral, glass and acrylic riser designed by none other than the talents of Party Flavors. Thank you so much Carrie Wildes Photography for capturing such wonderfully detailed images and sharing them with all the vendors and that ultimately led to this wonderful article.

ORLANDO WEDDING PREMIERE ISSUE

How surprised was I when visiting Allison Yates in her new role as the Weddings and Special Events Manager at The Villas of Grand Cypress (congratulations) when I started flipping through the Orlando Wedding premiere issue to come across a feature article that included floral designed by Greenery Productions. It was with a wonderful couple at Casa Feliz in October 2009. It included fall inspired colored floral including Circus roses, glass and metals lanterns and other touches.

And rounding out the back cover is again the Waldorf Astoria Orlando advertisement. The tall stately centerpiece and bridal bouquet were created by the talented Greenery Productions floral design team.

THE KNOT FLORIDA FALL/WINTER 2010

So how excited are we to be featured in The Knot Florida Fall/Winter 2010 Issue. The wedding took place in October 2009 at Cypress Grove Park. We had such a great time creating and designing the individual bouquets, gazebo and individual centerpieces. PRETTY IN PINK

I really enjoyed working with this mother daughter duo. What is really ironic about this wedding is that they share many of the same characteristics as the "FALLING IN LOVE IS COLORFUL" wedding blog posted below. Same last name, mom and bride started working with me about a year out, came with a wonderful coordinator and really let me help them plan the floral and decor. I should really apologize for not posting this wedding sooner. So without further delay, please allow me to introduce you to Mr. & Mrs. Christina Hall. I had the pleasure of working with them on their June 2009 wedding. With the guidance and support of Tamuel from Remembering When and the expertise of Juan Guzman of the Rosen Plaza, this wedding is no less than short of a platinum experience. Thank you to Mrs. Abreu (MOB) and each of these individuals for helping create a wedding for the sight and senses. Christina carried an all white cascading bouquet of white mini calla lilies, white roses, hand wired cymbidium orchid blossoms and stephanotis with delicate rhinestones placed in the throat of each.

The cocktail hour was just as spectacular as the dinner reception. Food for days and it was so enjoyable. Thank you to Mrs. Abreu for inviting me and my partner to this reception. The cocktail pieces were originally adorning the church pews. Multiple shades of hot pink hydrangea and lime green mutton mums were placed in cube vases filled with water and illuminated by candle light. Ideally these would be great centerpieces or guest table accents.

Two arrangements designed in a bird bath style glass vessels were the center of the cocktail reception room. An artistic and semi-blocked arrangement of large white roses, open cut calla lilies, stargazer lilies, pink hydrangea and curly willow carried the color and style the bride desired.

The center of the reception focused on the bride and groom at the corners of this large head table. Designed so the couple had a clear view of every guest enjoying themselves and to take in the beauty of the room. Towering 42" palace vases with pink and white floral including roses, stargazer lilies, white dendrobium orchid sprays and curly willow branches were placed in two corners of this 10' square table setting. The vases were dripping with long crystal strands and the open space in the middle of this royal setting stood towers of candles and floral.

I think everyone agreed, this room never looked better in pink. A first glance and a first dance where all this room needed to create a magical evening and experience.

The guest tables carried the same theme as the head table just as a shorter version. The head table was dressed with a pink lamour underlay with a White Dahlia overlay. The guest tables carried through the pink underlay theme but with a white shimmer sheer overlay. All provided by BBJ Linens.

The escort table arrangement designed differently but with the same style in mind was later moved to the party favor table.

The dynamic duo taking time to pose for what would be one of 2009's premier wedding events. Ever wonder how that fabric gets hung? Well we now know who to blame if it comes tumbling down.

NEW PLACES, NEW FACES AND SOME GOODBYES

I am always captivated when the media looks back on a year and you see so many events that occurred during the year that forever change the landscape of America and how the rest of the world views our wonderful nation. So I thought I would reflect on 2009 at Greenery Productions and the entire family as our proud owner Linda Grier likes to see it. We started our 21st year, her older son Mickey graduated from UCF's Rosen School of Hospitality in May, her younger son Matt was married in August and we ended the year in a new location all under one roof. With the hard work and dedication of the entire Greenery Production family, we participated in over 150 weddings, opened the Hilton Orlando, Hilton & Waldorf Astoria Bonnet Creek and the Westin Lake Mary. Our company is a multi-faceted company offering a diverse range of products and services. All three properties above included our interiorscape department headed by Robbin Ward designing and installing live plant specimens in record time. Furthermore both Hilton's above & the Waldorf Astoria required the expertise of our Christmas department headed by Bert Orsini. If you didn't get a chance to visit any of these properties at Christmas time, you must take time out of your busy schedule next year not only to enjoy a great meal at these hotels, but take in the beautiful Christmas decor. If Bert and her team of elves weren't busy enough, we began our first year of Christmas decorating at the prestigious Peabody Orlando. This was only the tip of the iceberg for our team of elves, spending many restless nights bringing so many of Orlando's finest hotels into the spirit of Christmas in the blink of an eye. Additionally we were awarded the exclusive floral and foliage contract for social and corporate events at the Hilton Orlando. Please allow me to share with you images of the Hilton Orlando grand opening. Of course this is only a tidbit of all that we accomplished in 2009 so be sure and check back often to find new images (especially of the Rain Forest themed grand opening of the Hilton & Waldorf Astoria Bonnet Creek) and details of all that happened in 2009. With the help of Room Service Rentals, we were able to create a stunning table top display. Chargers, candles of of course the floral all designed & provided by Greenery Productions. Linens provided by our good friends at BBJ Linens.

The idea of the "Event Alley" was to capture a wedding ceremony and reception in a small space. Again leaning our our friends at Room Service Rental, Occassions by Shangri-La and Quest Drape made designing and implementing the overlook a breeze. The great thing about working with Greenery Productions for corporate and social events including weddings is we just don't design floral we design events. We have all the best resources to create your event. Specializing in weddings is my passion. So why spend all your time, energy and hard earned money trying to pull it all together, hire us and and let us take care of all the details for you.

Indian weddings area unique opportunity to create wonderful displays of floral and decor. At the request of our partners of Occasions by Shangri-La, we created two wonderful floral settings to embellish the tables.

Continuing down the Event Alley runway was Room Service Rental. At Lindsay's request we created a unique display of pink floral to bring her illuminated bar alive by attaching magenta mokara orchids to white kuwa branches which then appeared to be floating. The custom Hilton monogrammed pillows were such a great touch and very affordable from what I am told.

The dinner function and two after parties were designed, implemented and managed by Mark Wells of Hello Florida. Working with Mark is always exciting as he pushes us to stay outside the box. He has a remarkable talent for seeing the big picture while never overlooking the smallest of detail. The dinner reception tables had three different floral designs. My favorite was the oblong Plexiglas vessel with a unique design of Charlie Brown cymbidium orchids, steel grass and curly willow tips with floating square candles illuminating the centerpiece and table.

Travelers Palms provided by Greenery Productions are all this air dome needed to add just the right amount of color and interest to this already dynamic structure.

Our signature palace vases doubles as a lamp. Areca Palm Trees and Ficus Ali accented the furniture groupings, stage and perimeter. So I conclude this post wishing everyone a wonderful 2010. FALLING IN LOVE IS SO COLORFUL

Planning a wedding can be a daunting task even for a seasoned professional. That is why I am a big advocate in hiring a coordinator, a really good coordinator that stands the test of time. Especially when the planning for floral and decor starts a year out. Tracy Marini of Eventfully Yours introduced me to Ivette and her mom about a year before her November 2009 wedding at Lake Mary Event Center. I feel blessed that Tracy introduced me to this dynamic duo because once again they really let me help them plan the right floral and decor for this fall wedding. Below are some of the images that Cory Callahan Photography captured. I will be sure an post more as they become available so you can appreciate all the details of her wedding.

Ivette carried a bouquet with mango calla lilies. Mango calla lilies offer a wide range of color hues that best capture a crisp fall day.

St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church is such a beautiful setting. The two large altar arrangements would later double as stage decoration for the cake.

Each tree was a lush arrangement of roses, orchids, safari sunset, bells of irleand, alstroemeria, fresh fall foliage and curly willow branches.

A mixture of tall and short arrangements are really a smaller version of the altar arrangements. Amber colored hanging glass votives hung from the thick dragonwood branches with more amber votives at the base to bring a warm fall glow to the tables. Each place setting included a beautifully inscribed menu with brown satin ribbon and a fresh orchid blossom. Gold chiavari chairs, gold chargers and copper pintuck linens completed this elegant setting.

I am anxiously awaiting the night time image that this picture certainly doesn't capture. The cake table and ceremony pieces were aglow from the gold glass mosaic votives elevating the cake. The candle light from the ceremony trees coupled with the amber uplights created the perfect feeling of a sunset on a crisp fall night.

CIRCLE OF LOVE

Greenery Productions not only designs floral but designs events. So like many brides in the past, I knew working with this brides was going to be a delight for me. Working with Dr. Haynes & Leon was such a pleasure. I am grateful to have met her at a wedding show (rarely do we attend) and then to have Kerline of Joie de Vie Weddings and Events sing our praises. Her September 2009 wedding at Omni Championsgate was such a wonderful wedding for the summer. Thankfully she took my advise (because Kerline could not break the news to her) that we needed to move the wedding in doors. Like with everything else, she trusted our professional instinct and we had a beautiful indoor ceremony.

Always looking to share a little time with my clients. Her girls were just as sweet as her.

I love using feathers but am very particular to make sure we are making the right statement. The collar of hackle plates really set off the eggplant colored mini calla lilies.

I always feel the focus during a reception should be directed towards the happy couple. The ceremony decor flanking the sweetheart table along with the uplighting, custom monogram and dramatic cake accomplished this need of mine.

Janelle wanted a dramatic cake and we worked with Party Flavors to create a unique look with glass risers, metal wire, fresh floral and feathers. Again for me it is important elements are used tastefully and not overdone. The look of happiness tells the story.

The short centerpieces were a 10" bubble bowl resting atop gold wired at a deep angle. Inside the bubble bowl was swirled eggplant mini calla lilies.

The custom sweetheart table arrangement brings together all the elements to carry through the dramatic look the bride desired.

The tall centerpieces were a large clutch of open cut calla lilies held together with gold wire resting atop a water filled 26" thick cut square glass vase. All the tables were set with 13" clear chargers with silver beading on the rim (owned by our company), black & silver Cirque floor length linens provided by Over The Top Inc. and black chiavari chairs. Thanks to Carrie Wildes Photography for providing I believe all these wonderful images in this post. She also made these really cool magnet keepsakes. WITH THE NEW YEAR COMES A FRESH START

As many of our clients and industry friends have heard.............after 20 some years behind Universal Studios, we have moved into a wonderful new facility. It is a stand alone warehouse in Central Park conveniently located to I-4, the Bee Line and major cross roads including John Young Park Way, Sand Lake and South Orange Blossom Trail. Our new design studio is larger and better equipped to serve the every growing needs of both our corporate and social clients alike. Be on the look out for our open house in March. A WEDDING FAIRYTALE

It is not often that I have trouble writing something about a great experience. Probably my procrastination about a post for this fairytale wedding is that I was determined to write the best story, post the best pictures and give the biggest shout outs possible. I think the latter two are no problem. But of course it is not every day that the owner's son gets married. It is and has been my pleasure and at Linda's request that I have had the fortune over the last four years to participate in many wonderful weddings in Orlando and Central Florida. I have designed many wonderful and spectacular events always trying to outdo myself and challenge our design team for something more fabulous than the last. Our company has grown to having little wedding experience to providing floral and decor in 2009 to an estimated 200 wedding clients, some small, many over the top but all with 100% positive feedback. Knowing what I know (or at least I thought) about Matt and Brittany's causal demeanor, I was confident this wedding would be a slam dunk. Well much to my surprise and frankly enjoyment, Matt took interest in every little detail when it came to decor. But he quickly became a "groomzilla" and the first ever for me. I'm not complaining, I thought it was kinda cute. Thankful for me, they both absolutely put their trust in me, our design team and the team of vendors that made me look like a super star. From the onset, Matt and Brittany just wanted a simple black and white wedding with silver accents. As you might imagine as an industry professional, it was important to me no matter what we did or who we called on that every detail was flawless. The end result with lots of planning and support from our extended family is short of breathtaking. So without further hesitation, I am proud and honored to present to you, the wonderful wedding of Mr. & Mrs. David Matthew Grier. Please hold your applause till the end.

The escort card center was a glass table top elevated by battery operated votives surrounded by hot pink rose petals. The escort cards were placed just so by the Eventfully Yours team. Fresh cute white phalenopsis orchids filled each vase.

Black muslin allowed for the white rose petal (over 500 roses) initial and scroll work to be illuminated by over 100 silver candle sticks framing the aisle.

The acrylic structure was designed and built by the team at Occasions by Shangri la which was unveiled at Matt and Brittany's wedding. Each white orchid arrangements atop was designed with over 150 white dendrobium orchid sprays. Orchid drops, black and clear crystals where illuminated by hanging votives as if everything was floating.

The table Matt and Brittany greeted their guest from included over 1,000 stems including mini calla lilies, roses, hydrangea, dendrobium and cymbidium orchid sprays.

The tallest of the centerpieces is our signature 42" silver and crystal candelabra. A design atop and garland included white roses, lilies, stock, and hydrangea.

Short centerpieces include five vases filled with dahlias, astilbe, roses, freesia and hydrangea, each adorned with rhinestone buckles in different shapes.

Simple and elegant, a spray of 100 white dendrobium orchid sprays atop our signature 42" palace vase with hanging crystals all illuminated with hollow votive candle holders.

The white and black flocked linens captured the light to provide each centerpiece a stunning look from every area of the room. The escort card table arrangements doubled as a back drop for the loungers surrounding the dance floor. While the table itself doubled for the cake placement.

The vision for Matt and Brittany wasn't to create the most expensive wedding possible, rather create an environment that represented each of their personalities for their family and friends to enjoy an evening of celebration. By being part of their special day, I find myself just a little bit closer to each of them. However I was only one part of making this fairytale wedding come true. ROSEN PLAZA

Over the last 3 to 6 months I have been working with the Rosen Plaza to enhance their wedding packages and create a fresh image for weddings at the Rosen Plaza. It is a wonderful hotel and the staff including those I work with in particular Robin and Juan are very dedicated to each client's needs and desires. The hotel has received Best of The Knot (as we have) year after year. Juan had approached me for assistance in creating centerpieces for the hotels wedding package. Not only are we now the exclusive wedding floral provider, but a friendship has ensued. Ironically through conversations, Juan and I have unknowingly crossed paths nearly 2o years ago. Below are some images of a recent wedding and several luncheons hosted by the Rosen Plaza

Kerline of Joie de Vie Weddings asked to help create a vision for Showers of Happiness for an ABC Luncheon. I worked with the in house rigging to hang parasols and to encase the guest in a cloud of fabric. The uplighting and cloud gobos brought the space alive. I also worked with Rashida of BBJ Linens to find just the right linen for the tables. We used a reversible cloth called Spring Kyoto which can be seen by clicking the link. Under the umbrellas placed atop the table was wheat grass waiting for just a hint of rain to keep it fresh and green. Thanks to Ed Medici for providing these wonderful images.

The best part about our industry is that we get to enjoy the fruits of our labor with others we work with daily. Industry professionals (too many to name) were given a VIP luncheon to launch the new Rosen Plaza packages.

There are so many wonderful industry professionals like those shown above that I have the honor of working with for corporate and social events. Amongst those are Tracy Marini with Eventfully Yours and Brandee Gaar with Blush by Brandee Gaar.

And the dynamic team that makes it happen for the Rosen Plaza from left to right is Michael Cruz from BBJ Linen, Robin and Juan from the Rosen Plaza, Julie Brewer from Brewer Photography & Videography and myself.

An October 2008 wedding at the Rosen Plaza. Discarding the ever present notion that a bride should carry an all white bouquet, this bride carried my favorite flower, the Schwarzwalder Mini Calla Lily while the girls carried a white mini calla lily bouquet. I like mono bouquets verses an overly mixed bouquet.

The fabric upgrade & chuppah is an option provided by the Rosen Plaza . The upgrades as shown are the stage covering, white stairs, floral swags, aisle markers and aisle runner.

The ceiling treatment is also an option provided by the Rosen Plaza

This bride chose a combination of short and tall centerpieces. The short being hydrangea, roses and open cut mini calla lilies. The tall centerpieces standing over 3 feet included open cut calla lilies, curly willow branches, white dendrobium orchid sprays and natural greenery.

The cake was enhanced with a fresh floral topper of white mini calla lilies and white hydrangea. Thanks to Tracy Marini of Eventfully Yours for letting me help make this brides day extra special with floral and decor. And to Rootography for the awesome images reflected above.

RED, WHITE AND FUN

I had the distinct pleasure of working with a wonderful couple that are also industry professionals. Chris & Terri Le Esposito were married on Sunday May 03, 2009 at The Marriott World Center with the reception following at the UCF Arena concourse. Now one might think (if you know the UCF Arena) that having a reception in this space might be a little odd. I have to admit, I certainly did. But let me tell you that this wasn't one couple that was going to let a blank hard space get in the way of creating a spectacular and FUN environment for all their guest. Being there most of the day I was able to watch the space transform into a white and red ZEN inspired reception like none I have ever seen. From early in the morning to late into the evening, J. Michael Hicks of A Spectacular Event oversaw and managed every detail. Thanks to Anna Cakes for sharing the images of the room set up in its entirety. She also created a cake that was spot on to the image the client requested. There were so many other vendors that helped to create this FUN wedding, but I don't want to misquote any (perhaps Chris and Terri Le can let me know so I can recognize them). Terri Le's bouquet was created with hand wired white cymbidium orchid blossoms and brick red mokara orchids.

Three different centerpiece made up the table decor. Although the elements were the same, each design was unique. Every table was enhanced with a collection of varying size square glass vase filled with river stones and water added candlelight to all the guest tables. This centerpiece consisted of black river stones filling one half of a tall thick cut square glass vase while Equisetum (also none as rush or horsetail) filled the other half. A clutch of white dendrobium orchid sprays arched over one side of the vase.

The same large glass vase filled with river stones was filled with 5' chunky curly willow branches with a cascading white phalaenopsis orchid sprays attached.

Black slate vases where placed at each guest setting with a single white fuji mum floating atop.

And the cake that looked spot on like the image provided by the client. A collection of large and dramatic Areca Palms, Ficus Ali & Adonida Palm Trees some as tall as 12 feet dotted the entrance and perimeter of the room. This is just a small collection from our greenhouses to serve our client's daily requirements for foliage.

SUNSET CANDLELIGHT

Intimate outdoor weddings can come alive with the just the right amount of decor and candlelight. Susan Southerland of Just Marry! introduced me to MaryKate's mother to help plan her daughter's destination wedding in May at the Walt Disney World Swan & Dolphin. The ceremony was held overlooking the Dolphin while the cocktail and dinner reception where held at the Swan Courtyard Terraces. Greenery Productions designed and provided all the decor with the exception of the market umbrellas. The lanterns hung from the ligustrum trees blanketed with twinkle lights made for a romantic evening for the bridal party and guest alike. The tables were dressed with Ivory Deauville from BBJ Linens. The lush pink, white and green centerpieces included hydrangea, roses and cymbidium orchids. MAY 16, 2009......A WEDDING TALE ABOUT PAIRS PART 2

The wedding tale continues. The second wedding for May 16th, 2009 was for the Gissy family. In May 2008 Linda Grier the owner of Greenery Productions introduced me to the Gissy family at the annual Give Kids The World Gala at the beautiful Peabody Orlando. We have supported this gala for the last three years by providing 140 centerpieces and foliage decor at no cost to GKTW. I am also proud to inform you we are the exclusive in house floral and foliage provider for corporate and social events plus we maintain the interior scape and are responsible for all the Christmas decor at The Peabody Orlando. I introduced Lisa Konecny of E Events to the family as I knew she would be perfect for them and me in creating a stunning wedding. I think the images below captured by Damon Tucci tell the story of a dream wedding for Kate and Jared. Many of the planning session included Brenda Gissy which I enjoyed getting to know through the planning process of her daughter's wedding.

Working with Bonnie Garfield at the Loews Portofino Bay Hotel and her support over the last four years have been a blessing. She has helped me become a better advisor and consultant to many of our mutual brides and has watched me grow into one of Orlando's premier wedding floral and decor providers.

The female attendants carried a bouquet of varying shades of pink peonies and ivory and pale green Weber/Parrot Tulips which are amongst my favorite novelty tulips. The bride carried an all peony bouquet in varying pink shades. The groom wore a pink ranunculus boutonniere while the male attendants sported a white ranunculus boutonniere.

The flower girls were so cute and I could not help myself capturing an image. They carried a much smaller version of the female attendants bouquet.

Our signature canopy of white chiffon placed over the Villa Piazza is always a bride favorite. The columns and black bars where covered with grape vine and floral clusters of antique green hydrangea, yellow, pink and ivory roses and tulips, white dendrobium orchid sprays and hanging green amaranthus (Kates favorite). The columns were topped with arrangements of the same floral. Framing the aisle where fresh cut flower hedges with hydrangea, roses, tulips, snap dragons and white dendrobium orchid sprays. These would later be moved to line the front of the stage.

The 500 or so roses that were to be used as petals to create a design down the aisle was not to be because of the windy conditions. Instead, I delighted in covering the area where Kate and Jared exchanged vows.

The ten foot wide by five foot deep head table overlooked the custom vinyl covered dance floor that further overlooked the band. The custom logo and uplighting illuminated the already beautiful Venetian Ballroom. The head table was dressed with a 42" tall tapered vase topped with an arrangement of antique green hydrangea, yellow and pink roses and dutch tulips. Hanging green amaranthus was a favorite detail that Kate desired. One thing I pride myself on is utilizing ceremony decor to help compliment the WOW factor. All the low floral dressing the head table is from the ceremony gazebo. The linens for the head table were a kiwi lamour underlay with a Green Stratford overlay that was a great compliment to the girls dresses.

The guest tables were dressed with a lime purple Fortuny from Over The Top. The centerpieces where the same as the head table just a collection of both 28" tall and 42" tall tapered vases filled with water. Short white washed vases topped with a cluster of roses, floating hollow t-light holders, mahogany chiavari chairs, gold chargers and kiwi colored satin napkins completed each guest table setting. Many thanks and sincere gratitude to the entire Greenery Productions floral team for flawlessly executing TWO stunning weddings for TWO wonderful families.

MAY 16, 2009......A WEDDING TALE ABOUT PAIRS PART 1

Now that May has blessed us, I can get back to some blogging. As I sit here and think about the two weddings on May 16, 2009 I realize how everything was in pairs. Two great brides, two great mothers, two of my favorite venues, wedding coordinators, hotel catering directors and in the end two absolutely FABULOUS WEDDINGS. First let me say Greenery Productions can produce and manage many events on the same day and leading up to the actual event date. Our one day record for weddings in excess of $5,000 each is SEVEN. We pride ourselves on making sure every detail is as promised no matter how small the detail or how large the event. On this day though, we could only manage two weddings because of the size and scope of detail of each wedding. The first was the Yacomeni wedding. I met Helen almost TWO years prior to her daughter Lindsey's wedding. I usually find it in the client's best interest to meet no earlier than 8 months out, a year if the venue and color scheme have been established. Well Helen insisted and the end result turned into a wonderful relationship plus a beautiful wedding for Lindsey and Scott. But let me say almost everything changed from the beginning so all you brides out there, don't worry if you don't start planning floral and decor earlier than a year out. The mother of the bride Helen was so much fun to work with. She would check my facebook page and blog every Sunday to see what was posted. She was one of my biggest fans for the last six months and I hope she continues to follow me. All Helen wanted was to give her daughter a dream wedding.

Bling was in order for Lindsay. With the jewels, probably the most expensive bouquet I have made to date. Hand wired japhet and cymbidium orchid blossoms with Swarovski jewels throughout.

Working with Jennifer Smith of the Omni Orlando Resort at Championsgate is always a dream. And of course non other than Tracy Marini of Eventfully Yours could make any wedding more complete no matter the size or detail . Thank you both ladies, I know I asked a lot from each of you and as always you amazed me. The chuppah would later be taken apart and moved upstairs to flank the entrance and cake table. Votives from hanging glass crystals would transform each post.

Another pair here......They both loved the glass covered place card table. Crushed glass ice covers the table with an arrangement of curly willow branches, hydrangea,hand wired cymbidium orchid blossoms and dripping glass crystals.

The room absolutely was the evenings attraction. These are my images so when I get the professional ones, I am confident every detail will be evident. In the meantime, you can double click any image on my blog for a closer perspective. The tables where dressed with a flocked fortuny from Over The Top, black napkins placed atop our silver beaded belmont charges. The centerpiece standing almost FIVE feet tall was created with chunky curly willow branches, hand wired cymbidium orchid blossoms and votives hung from glass crystals. Surrounding the base was varying size cube vases filled with black gems, water and square floating candles. Thanks to the Omni team, the black chiavari chairs were moved from the downstairs ceremony site upstairs to the reception. No easy task. Then the team from BBJ Linen weaved the black lamour sashes in and out the slates tying them in loose knots in record time.

The bling was carried through to the cake from Party Flavors. A black ribbon band with a crystal broach was placed on each layer. Individual crystals were placed just so to create a sparkle that almost required sun glasses.

SORRY MEXICO HOPE YOU'LL BE BETTER SOON

I believe it was Tuesday, April 28th while I was out of the office on business I received four calls regarding a wedding that had been moved from Mexico to the Portofino Bay Hotel. Although I had already had one wedding on May 1st, three on May 2nd and one on May 3rd, all full service with lots of details, I returned the call to see how I could assist. My expression was when? May 2nd, okay let me see what we can do. So I won't lie, I said send me the proposal for the wedding floral and let me see what we can bring to life for your wedding. So as always I put my spin on it to make the brides vision come true. Of course I didn't charge $30 for a calla lily boutonniere but am pleased to tell you everything was executed flawlessly by the talents of Allison. Thank you to my floral wholesalers for having absolutely everything I requested and working with me to secure the product so quickly. I worked until midnight to get the proposal out the door and mind you I was already working on a last minute corporate gig for Saturday as well. But I and the entire GP team are grateful for all the opportunities that present themselves no matter how small or large and regardless how much time we have to plan. Thank you Bridget Jackson of the Portofino Bay Hotel for referring the client to us, I know we made you proud. Candles illuminated the lush centerpiece arrangement of roses, tulips and a variety of orchid sprays and natural greenery. The tables were dressed with ivory linens and completed with gold chiavari charis.

The lush cascade of orchids, roses and tulips dressed the three tier cake provided by Portofino.

I had seen printing on candy before, but I was amazed how great the quality. The image of the bride and groom is remarkable.

LAYERS OF LOVE

I had the pleasure of working with the Keogh's for their May 01, 2009 wedding at Paradise Cove. The mother and daughter work at Disney and had already been to the design team at Disney. After several meetings with me and comparing our creative proposal with Disney's I am pleased to tell you as evident below we were chosen to provide the floral. We put our spin on what their vision was to create the beautiful floral and decor as seen below. Soon I will replace these images with professional ones provided by Garrett Nudd who is an absolutely amazing photographer. As I hoped and recommended, the family hired Blush by Brandee Gaar. It is always great to work with Stephanie, she is so sweet.

The first centerpiece was also a 12" square x 4" tall vase is lined with turquoise and cobalt blue crushed glass. The base of this design was blue thistle surrounding hollow tubes that would have fresh cut phalaenopsis orchids cascading over. Orange gerbera daisies surrounded the tubes. Thanks to our designer Val for making sure every centerpiece was mechanically sound and each flower placed just so.

The second was a 12" square x 4" tall vase is lined with turquoise and cobalt blue crushed glass. Layers of floral included hydrangea and thistle are the spring board for orange gerbera daisies.

The bride carried a bouquet of orange dahlias, blue thistle, cobalt hydrangea and Asclepia Tuberosa.. The leaves where to be hosta, but the hydrangea leaves had such great texture and deep lines it was a shame not to use them.

The female attendants carried a bouquet of light blue hydrangea, orange mokara orchids, blue thistle, Asclepia Tuberosa Orange Silk Weed and coxcomb.

The flower girl carried a moss covered ball with blue thistle and Volkenfrieden Delphinium. The male attendants wore a boutonniere with blue thistle and orange coxcomb.

Framing the aisle where blue thistle pomander balls hung from black shepherds hooks. These would later be placed atop round and square vases for the food stations.

An artistic designed escort card table arrangement pulling all the elements together including color to create a one of a kind floral design.

SOUTHERN WEDDINGS MAGAZINE

Kristen McDonald from Blush by Brandee Gaar introduced me to Tracy Jenkins. One of my six weddings for the May 2nd weekend. Tracy had one goal for her wedding, to create a Southern wedding that was so individual and elegant that Southern Weddings Magazine would pick up her wedding for publishing. Good Luck Tracy, I hope our designs will assist you in making your dream wedding more dreamy. When I first sat down with Tracy I had no idea what was in store. I thought maybe you'll have to drag me by a leash (as evident above). Just kidding, couldn't pass up a pink collar and leash photo op. We often create one or two designs for a wedding. We often use client's containers to create these designs in. Well a mix of her containers, her accessories, our containers and at least 20 individual designs made for a wedding that surely can't be passed up by Southern Weddings Magazine. Janice (one of our fabulous designers at GP) and I worked together in creating the designs you see below. Thanks Janice for a remarkable interpretation of a southern wedding. The bride carried a pink peony and champagne colored rose bouquet with rhinestone handle embellishments. There is nothing more southern than ivory hydrangea which is what the female attendants carried.

Tracy made her own runners, provided the votive holders, chargers and crystal chandelier atop the thick cut cylinder vase.

Our signature 28" palace vase with antique green hydrangea, deep pink spray roses and white dendrobium orchid sprays arranged atop a crystal chandelier.

The beautiful Cypress Grove Park was the ideal backdrop for the wedding reception.

I don't often use carnations and baby's breath, but when designed properly, the flowers take on a whole new light. Our aged gold candle sticks are complimented by a low centerpiece of roses and spray roses in multiple pink & ivory shades.

This is probably my favorite design with spray roses and baby's breath designed atop our aged gold candles sticks. The table announcement was pictures of their black labs. The party favor was a suggestion to make a donation to your local Humane Society. The napkins were tied with gold tassels and accented with white ostrich plumes.

The white arbor was dressed with white fabric. A 6 foot arrangement flanked the post created with hydrangea, roses, delphinium and natural greenery. These were later moved to flank the sweetheart table.

PINK & ORANGE GERBERA DAISIES

A spot of color, no way, were talking bright pink and orange all the way baby. Tracy Frost had one request, GERBERA DAISIES. No fancy designs, just gerbera daisies. And we did just that. I love color so I love it when we don't hold back. The ceremony & reception was held at Timacuan Country Club with the one and only Tracy Marini of Eventfully Yours. In fact I was blessed that Tracy introduced me to two clients, the second on May 2 was at the Orlando Museum of Art.

We are getting a lot of miles out of our 7 - 8' dragonwood structures. They are so beautiful, have lots of character and fit well in multiple settings. I don't think they have been used twice the same way. After the ceremony we move them into the reception to flank the sweetheart table and add hanging votives, a real crowd-pleaser.

The chairs were provided by Darrin with DJ Fun Factory. The chocolate poly classic linens & chair covers with apple bengaline sash were provided by Mike Cruz with BBJ Linens. The sweetheart & cake table are dressed with an apple bengaline underlay and a fern shimmer sheer overlay.

Some guest tables were dressed with a tall centerpiece while others had a collection of vases.

SOMETHING FUNKY GOING ON AROUND HERE

Mike Cruz's from BBJ Linens invited me to his wife's hair salon grand opening. I thought it would be fitting to go funky for the evening. I was invited as a guest speaker for WPCF recently. We created 5 semi-organic feeling centerpieces for the occasion. Often times when we are asked to participate and provide floral and decor we find ourselves repurposing floral from previous events. In this case we used items from a Sunday wedding. Just doing our part to minimize our carbon footprint while being creative. Next time, I'll get involved with the rest of the decor to ensure continuity between the centerpieces and table linens.

The oblong green element used in several of these centerpieces is called rush, horsetail or the genus name Equisetum (pronounced /ˌɛkwɨˈsiːtəm/). The variety shown in these pictures is a very thick stalk, usually it is very skinny. I actually have a garden of it in my front yard, it is wonderful linear plant specimen that multiplies. The grape vine log is actually a very old portion of grape vine plants. The below image has been sand blasted to give it a light color. Lucky bamboo, sheet moss and Thistle add some character to a interesting piece of wood.

White dendrobium orchid blossoms are clustered together to create great textures with the blue Thistle and rush.

White Phalenopsis Orchids always make for a dramatic statement. In my opionion they are often used in centerpieces with other elements that crowd out the beauty of the stunning blossoms.

During the Superbowl we were blessed to be called on by over a dozen clients to provide floral, foliage and decor. Below is just one party we were involved in for the executives of Universal Studios and NBC. A black soundstage at Universal Orlando turned into a chic night club.

Tropical Paradise

I love working at a venue that offers something different. You may not know, but Greenery Productions is proudly the exclusive floral and foliage provider for the Loews Hotels at Universal Orlando which includes the Portofino Bay Hotel, Hard Rock Hotel and Royal Pacific Resort. It was such a pleasure to work with Rosemary on this wedding. Meredith carried a bouquet of bombay orchids, mini green cymbidium orchid blossoms and garnet glow mini calla lilies all accented with variegated liriope.

The girls carried an all bombay orchid bouquet accented with loops of variegated liriope with the same as a stem wrap accented with peacock blue pearl pins.

As evident, orchids were the theme of this wedding. The couple absolutely loved the lobby of the Royal Pacific Resort which is home to hundreds of exotic potted orchid specimens.

The tables were dressed with turquoise lamour and nile lamour for the chairs with a shimmer sheer sash all provided by BBJ Linen. The tropical centerpieces included birds of paradise, green and purple dendrobium orchid sprays, coontie fern variegated liriope.

The ceremony was held beach side overlooking the lake. You couldn't have asked for better weather. Just a slight breeze as the potted orchid gardens stood witness to the couple exchanging vows.

LAVENDER TWICE AS NICE

Lavender seems to be the popular color looking back on April. Although a slower month for weddings, we remain busy at Greenery Productions. A couple of weddings recently included lavender as the primary color. The first was at the Grand Bohemian with Tracy Marini of Eventfully Yours. The bride carried an all white bouquet of white mini calla lilies. The girls (sorry no image) carried a Picasso Mini Calla lily bouquet. They are white with purple throats, a very interesting flower. You can click on this link to see this wonderful flower. The altar pieces are a little shorter than I like, however as a cost savings measure, we created them so they would be moved into the reception as centerpieces. Shown here on our signature 42" palace vase with open cut calla lilies, lavender roses, hybrid white lilies, white dendrobium orchid sprays, curly willow and natural greenery. The still reached nearly six feet overall.

The short centerpiece designed in a hour glass style vase with white hydrangea, lavender roses, lavender tulips and large open cut calla lilies.

The second wedding was at Leu Gardens with Brandee Gaar of Blush. It was such a beautiful day, a little windy but that was nice to keep the temperature in check. Paige and her mom are such wonderful people, such a nice family. Paige carried an all eggplant colored mini calla lily bouquet, one of my favorite flowers.

The female attendants carried a bouquet of white hydrangea and wonderful bi-colored lavender rose called Stranger. Click on the link for a close up. The flower girls carried a bouquet of lavender / powder blue hydrangea.

A combination of short and tall centerpieces dressed the purple bengaline covered tables. A short 8" square leaf lined vase included an arrangement of white hydrangea, Stranger Roses, lavender dendrobium orchids and loops of lily grass. The tall centerpieces were a simple arrangement of 5 - 6' curly willow branches with glass hanging votives hung from the branches with white dendrobium orchid blossoms arranged about the rim of the vase.

In the house this evening with Brandee was Brian of Tagas Event and Production Services, Root Photography, Arthur's Catering, & Party Flavors. The cake was decorated with lavender dendrobium orchid blossoms.

What more could one ask for? Ironically when I found out that the "Pink Palace" wedding (noticeable below) was posted on The Knot, I didn't think much of it, it was a beautiful wedding and all, but I was no longer advertising with The Knot so I didn't bother taking a look at it on line. The bride sent me the images so I thought that was all I needed. Then another bride submitted her wedding so I said well let me take a look. And wouldn't you know it, there were post from FIVE different weddings. I was thrilled and suprised to say the least. Also in 2006 I was selected to provide floral and decor for the Central Florida market party and in 2007 the Tampa area market party. I share all this with you because just recently we were awarded 2008 / 2009 The Knot Best of Weddings (thus the logo on our homepage). This accolade means so much to me. The companies are selected by brides that have completed a survey requested only by The Knot. A vendor can not reach out to a bride and request they vote for them. So a huge thank you to the brides that shared their experiences with The Knot. A tremendous thank you for all my past and present clients, our extended family of vendor partners and most of all to the entire team present and past at Greenery Productions. Without each individual's contribution at GP, none of this would be possible. THANK YOU! A special thank you to Rhonda from The Knot for all her support.

FRIENDS THAT FELL IN LOVE

One of the great things about what I do is that from time to time I have the pleasure of working with friends on their wedding. In 2000 (or there abouts) Tracy Hensler, Patrick Hollon and myself met at UCF from the professional fraternity we were all involved in, Alpha Kappa Psi. Both Tracy and Patrick pledged the semester after I became a brother. They were not involved prior to AKPSI but we all knew something was brewing. Patrick and Tracy were married in December at The Grand Bohemian. I knew they needed a coordinator to help them plan their big day. So what other trusted source would I call in for such a wonderful couple but Tracy Marini with Eventfully Yours. Thanks to Kevin Keelan for capturing such wonderful images to pick from of the wedding and those of Raul and I. I enjoy being around such positive spirits like Tracy and Kevin.

Tracy carried a beautiful, soft and elegant bouquet of hand wired white cymbidium orchid blossoms and white mini calla lilies with a collar of birds nest fern from Australia. I love using this soft and vibrant foliage for bouquet collars. The girls carried a bouquet of eggplant colored mini calla lilies called Schwarzwalder, one of my favorite flowers of all time. They are the right choice for a sophisticated and sleek bouquet.

Tracy was such a radiant bride................look how stunning she was (and still is)!

And the wonderful Hensler family. Their mom and dad are just the sweetest parents you have ever met. Missy Hensler was married earlier this year, her wedding will soon be profiled.

The challenge of the famous pole seemed to disappear for us this evening. We erected our white chiffon drapery behind the ceremony site and hit it with pink uplights with cerise pink and green orchid drops. Our 40' white carpet lead up to the ceremony site set at an angle closest to the pool; the first set up of this kind from what I have been told by those that have worked at the Grand Bo. It turned out to be a great way to set up a ceremony for this venue.

Black Magic & Cerise colored roses created a lush cake topper and cascade. The centerpiece was a collection of three varying size cube vases with the same roses arranged in them accented with Italian Ruscus. Simple was there desire (trust me I tried for more creativity)!

It's always especially rewarding to join in the celebration after a long days work. Raul and I were amongst other friends; John Newstreet, Michelle (Turner Cyr), Nathan Cyr and Missy Hensler as we all celebrated the union of Patrick and Tracy.

TWICE AS NICE PART II

As I mentioned below, two special weddings. The second wedding on February 21st, 2009 was for Megan Machaby. How can I not start off with this cute little bundle of joy belonging to Erin Machaby who was married November 2007 at Wild Acres in Paisley Florida by the same team that is marrying Megan. I have committed myself to blogging almost immediately after the wedding with photos I have taken. But often times a wonderful photographer is on site and I wait to receive some images from them before blogging. The images that Abby Liga and her team captured are short of inspirational. You know for a design team it is all about our work that we want to capture. But sometimes, point and case, it is about stepping back and reflecting on the family and the love that has brought us all together again. Thank you Lisa from E-vents for inviting me again to participate in such a special occasion for such a beautiful family. So I thought it would be fitting to share some of those special images with all of you.

Although we had planned on scroll work on the aisle with a blend of colors, the wind on the 6th floor of The Grand Bohemian won out. I think I like the lush blend and color palette of rose petlas we created instead.

9 - 10 foot dragon branches with hanging crystals surrounded by lush Australian Foliage. These would be later moved into the reception with hanging votive candles added.

Again, just another wonderful reflection of the family. Megan looks so peaceful as her mother and dad prepare to hand her off to Hunter.

I love the ceremony site, however I hate the pole which always drives me crazy.

Megan carried a bouquet of purple hydrangea in varying hues with rich merlot colored dahlias and sweet william. The girls bouquets had the same except for antique green hydrangea instead of the purple hydrangea.

This wedding was certainly a collaborative effort with the bride creating and providing certain elements and Lisa's drive to push me as always to think outside the norm. If you know and have worked with me then you know I hate it when someone refers to my team as florist. Recently after a conversation with another industry professional, this got me to reflecting on what we really do and my new slogan, "We don't just design floral, We design events!" We plan, advise, design and provide all the decor from the linens, uplighting, rented tables and chairs and of course all the floral decor. I think the below pictures and all my blogs certainly reflect on my commitment for perfection no matter how small the detail.

Purple Velvet linens from Wildflower Linens for the 5' square tables were paired with Violet Gold Crushed Satin from Over The Top Inc. on 5' round tables with black chiavari chairs at both tables. The lanterns below were all painted silver by Megan and we popped a battery operated t-light in them. Megan also provide the gold chargers.

I am so appreciative that Abby captures images we'll remember for a lifetime. We often don't get to stop and reflect on what all the efforts look like when it's all complete. I told her recently that her skill allows us to step back and reflect on the wedding story from beginning to end.

The centerpieces; a masterpiece with a short life. Two designs utilizing many of the same elements. The first design was a base of purple hydrangea supporting 3 hollow 24" tubes with purple hydrangea surround dendrobium orchids sprays with cascading eggplant mini calla lilies arranged atop. Crystals are hung from the underside of the arrangement.

The second design is a 24" barrel shaped vase filled with water and illuminated crystals. Atop the rim is a three tiered Moroccan crystal chandelier with an arrangement of purple hydrangea and dendroiums with cascading eggplant mini calla lilies. The cake was designed by Anna Cakes. The cake table has a funny story of sorts. I am always challenged with creating a cake able that enhances the cake and is complimentary to the rest of the decor. Another one of those Lisa things (gotta love it). So Unique Option who was providing the cocktail and after party furniture started loading in. I said I NEED one of those end tables to rise the cake. And as you can see a little Tommy Love was all that was needed by attaching cymbidium orchid blossoms to the table and presto, instant on site solution. I really wish you could see the linen that was on the cake and head table, it was stunning.

TWICE AS NICE PART I

February 21st, 2009 TWO WEDDINGS, not a big deal, I have done seven on a Saturday. But the big deal for me that makes me so proud is to have the opportunity to marry a second daughter for each of the family's (in this and the above profile) both on the same day. My first entry about this very special day will be about the Masi's. I just absolutely love Rita Masi. I think on January 1st, 2008 I must have been one of the first vendors she called to tell me that her second daughter Erin was getting married. With all the excitement she was ready to start the planning. In February I finally got to meet Erin at the Ritz Carlton Wedding show (The Ritz was where her sister got married and where she wanted to get married). So Erin and I convinced mom to let her focus on her studies so that she could pass the bar with flying colors. She did just that in June (CONGRATULATIONS) so we started the planning soon after. Below are the images of a beautiful wedding that has a lot of meaning to those that were involved. I also thought it would be fitting to profile Rita's first daughters wedding which follows the first set of pictures. Erin's bouquet was created with some of the most exotic orchids available, japphet and cattleya orchids accented with stephanotis and dendrobium orchid blossoms.

The female attendants carried all hand wired green cymbidium orchid and white dendrobium orchids.

Boutonnieres created with a single green cymbidium orhcid blossoms artistically embellished with bear grass wrapped with bouillon. No green floral tape here.

The ceremony was held at the beautiful Rosen Shingle Creek with a lush aisle of red rose petals.

Florence urn arrangement of ivory roses and white dendrobium orchids sprays, curly willow branches and natural greenery flanked the ceremony backdrop. These were later moved to the reception.

The tables were dressed with ivory Bichon, maize lamour colored chair covers with a gold lamour bow all provided by BBJ Linen. Center of each table is a 28" palace vase filled with water and topped with an arrangement of hydrangea and roses.

Just loved the purse.

Love the tastefully done sweet table complete with Godiva Chocolate.

And of course none other than Tracy Marini from Eventfully Yours keeping all the troops in line. Tracy is on the far left, I am third in, Jen Rosenthal from Rosen Shingle Creek and Tracy's assistant, Ashley (here wedding was profiled earlier).

And Rita's first daughter married at the Ritz Carlton Grande Lakes Orlando November 2006. Looking back, I think orchids are a favorite with this family.

Vineyard Grill hosted the reception. A horseshoe shaped head table with three lush arrangements created with roses, orchids sprays, open cut calla lilies, green button mums and complimented with seasonal floral accents and natural greenery.

Although an intimate affair with 3 guest tables, no detail was overlooked. The guest tables had a lush and breath taking arrangement atop 3-foot dragon wood. The head table was dressed with moss bichon with a fern shimmer sheer overlay.

FALL ORGANIC OPPULENCE

Exceeding Expectations Every Time is not something I take lightly. But Bridgett was a gem of a bride when she came in to see her sample centerpiece. She was accompanied by her mom, the sweetest two people I have ever met, they are like sugar in a warm cup of coffee. Bridget's expressions was wonderful, "those are my centerpieces, OMG the are much bigger than I dreamed of". Honestly, they were nice, but they by no means are the biggest we've made. Bridget and Brian Ray were married November 8th at a church in Downtown Orlando with the reception at the Rosen Shingle Creek with Jen Rosenthal. Over seeing the team and doing what she does best, Tracy Marini of Eventfully Yours was so patient dealing with me and my other 6, yes SEVEN weddings on November 8th. As I mentioned under my Jacoby blog, each wedding was as detailed as the next on this day. But a 14-16 hour day for me on Saturdays is the norm, I think I live for the thrill. And I again can't express how appreciative I am of our entire design team on days like this. The Butler and Conway Ballroom at Rosen Shingle Creek are among some of the best in Orlando. But let me tell you to move large altar arrangements and centerpieces of this size down a long endless hallway on the second floor is a task in itself. Thanks to Edmund Rhodes for these wonderful images. I promise her bouquet wasn't as big as it may appear in person. She did want a bouquet with presence. Cascading bouquet with hand wired gold cymbidum, mango calla lilies, pance mokara orchids, burgundy mokara orchids, crocosmia, coffee colored hypericum berries and natural greenery. I love dressing the sweetheart table with something different than the guest tables. Sometimes rouching it is nice, but with this Burnt Sienna Floral Tinsel from Cloth Connection, you would just ruin all the fun by rouching. Likewise I love creating a single masterpiece for the sweetheart table. This wedding is no exception, although you can't see much of the grapevine log, it is an awesome base for an array floral to compliment the personals and the guest table centerpieces. Look for the grapevine log under my Lambert blog posted after this blog.

The cake table was flanked with the arrangements from the ceremony. 6 - 7' tall dragon wood trunk bases with an rich mix of pance mokara orchids, james story orchids, natural fall foliage and greenery, coffee colored hypericum berries and curly willow branches. The DJ which also provided start of the art LED lighting was by Soundwave Entertainment Systems.

The guest tables were dressed with a copper pintuck linen and Cabernet colored pintuck napkin and Mahogany chiavari chairs. The centerpieces were chunky oak branches securely attached to a moss covered base accented with glass gold, amber and espresso colored mosaic votive holders. An arrangement of pance mokara orchids, James Story Orchids, natural fall colored foliage and greenery filled the tree branches. Profesional design tip: tall centerpieces should never hinder your guest comfort and ability to converse freely across the table, you'll never find that in our designs.

GREEN CYMBIDIUMS

I thought it would be nice to profile a wedding of someone I work with at least 2 weekends a month. Ashley is a coordinator for Tracy Marini of Eventfully Yours. I was honored they requested I provide the floral for her very special day. Ashley was such a delight to work with. Here ceremony was at their church with the reception being held at Orlando Museum of Art in Orlando. Ashley carried a bouquet of hand wired mini cybmidium orchid blossoms with an arelia leaf collar. It is not common to do mini cymbidium orchids, but the end result was stunning. The female attendants carried a white rose and mini cymbidum orchid bouquet.

Each side of the stage was dressed with an upright arrangement of roses, Bells of Ireland, curly willow branches and natural greenery designed atop our custom dragon wood trunk bases covered with moss. These were later moved to the reception to flank the entrance from the cocktail reception foyer to the dinner reception.

A simple, clean and crisp garden feel was the scene for the reception. Apple green bengaline(maybe lamour) sashes dressed the white garden chairs and used as a runner over the crisp white linens. No one ties sashes like our friends at BBJ Linens. Some tables had a water filled 28" palace vase with white dendrobium orchid sprays, while others had three varying size cylinders filled with water and topped with bear grass framed white hydrangea.

The cake was accented with green cymbidium orchid blossoms and a cake topper to mimic Ashley's bouquet. Fern shimmer sheer dressed the cake table and sweetheart table.

RED, SILVER AND ONE BEAUTIFUL BRIDE

It is not often you will find me not being able to find words to express how I feel. The moment that I met Marlo, I was enamored with her beauty not just physically but by how eloquently she spoke and carried herself. I am not sure where she is from but she had a gentle Southern hospitality about her. I always find brides on their very special day a beautiful site to behold, but Marlo is one of my favorite visions. I have to thank Tracy with Eventfully Yours for helping Marlo find her way to me. The task at hand seemed all too easy after Marlo and I met to discuss her wedding floral and decor vision. Black Magic Roses and silver, that was her request. She wanted WOW! It's easy when a bride puts her trust in you. The team was lead by Heather Snively and Emily of Weddings Unique. A wonderful overview of the main dinner reception at Isleworth.l There are tables under the eaves left and right as well.

The head table was dressed with 42" palace vase with chunky silver dusted curly willow with an explosion of 100 red roses. The branches were strung with crystal hanging votives. Running the length of the table were varying size silver candlesticks with silver mosaic candle holders.

The guest tables on the main reception floor were a trio of silver candle sticks, two with silver mosaic candle holders and the middle stick with an arrangement of black magic roses and natural curly willow branches. Those under the eaves had a staggered set of silver candle sticks with silver mosaic candle holders with a dome of black magic roses. All the tables were accented with silver reflex votive holders with a frosted silver beaded Belmont charger. Black linens and chiavari chairs completed the entire table set.

The cake was 5 tiers with Black Magic roses placed between each of the layers. This images shows the female attendant bouquets placed about the table.

Marlo and Berry were married at St. James Catholic Church, downtown Orlando with the reception following at Isleworth Golf & Country Club. The team was headed up by the talents of Heather Snively and Emily of Weddings Unique The images captured like nobody's business by none other than Kevin Keelan

BLOOMING BRANCHES IN FALL & WINTER

Why yes if you have hired the team of professionals at Greenery Productions. The one thing I admire most about Lisa wth E-vents is that she does not let me tell the client NO. I love being pushed to the edge of creativity. Now this wasn't a hard task for the entire design team at GP. We've created blooming branches before. But when you have six other just as detailed weddings in the same day; you might wonder if it is all at the end as promised. You better believe it, I would not risk any unhappy bride or our reputation. I am driven by HAPPINESS & LOVE, that is what our industry is all about. Our commitment for perfection will become evident as you enjoy the below images of a breath taken wedding caputered by Garett Nudd. Inspired by the bride and Lisa, I am pleased to introduce the wedding of Erin Jacoby & Mike Walker married at the Ritz Carlton Grandel Lakes Orlando created by Greenery Productions.

Bridal bouquet created with hydrangea, dendrobium & cymbidum orchid blossoms, ranunuculus, peonies. The femal attendants carried a bouquet of antique green hydrangea with hints of pink spots, ranunuculus, roses, dendrobium orchid blossoms and fern shoots. The bouquets wrapped "ballet" style.

Deep pink chiffon draped the front columns of the arbor that overlooks Grande Lake. The aisle was framed with rose petals in varying pink shades. The scroll work down the aisle mimiced the scroll work found on the invitations. Thank you Allison from Greenery Productions!

The escort card table is a signature Tommy Murphy design & creation. Again, one of those things Lisa pushes me to the edge on and the result is never short of the last creation. A beautifully textured base of hydrangea with upright silver branches with hand wired cymbidium orchid blossoms and hanging crystals. The table was covered with a beautiful Blush Tinsel linen and crushed glass with the escort cards position just so. The table was illuminated with silver reflex votive candles.

A combination of 5' square tables and 6' round tables were dressed with custom made floor length chocolate ribbon taffeta by Cloth Connection. A close up of the linen can be seen by clicking this link. The centerpieces, a 28" palace vase filled with blooming branches surrounded by a collar of hydrangea with the foot of the vase surrounded by cylinders of hydrangea and votive candles. The square tables were set with a 16" tapered cyrstal vase with upright curly willow branches with hand wired cymbidium orchid blossoms and cascading amaranthus. The head table overlooking the cake had two oversized arrangements combining all the elements. The high gloss dance floor covering appeared as if the couple were floating on a frozen lake. RED HUES OF LOVE

It is always rewarding to work with an individual you have a professional relationship. It is even more rewarding when they are getting married at a favorite wedding venue and your favorite wedidng coordinator, Tracy Marini of Eventfully Yours is keeping it all in order. Andrea Crowe (new last name) was married at the beautiful Omni Orlando Resort at Championsgate. Andrea provide her vision and let me design a beautiful wedding event for her wedding. The warm and rich tones carried through to the reception. 32" tall square vase with 6' chunky curly willow branches were surrounded by black magic roses and burgundy mokara orchids accented with natural greenery. Hanging crystal votives illuminate the centerpiece and added a romantic ambiance to the room.
